Terms and Conditions for Human X Film & Music Grant Award

 

  1. Eligibility:
  • Applicants must be individuals or organizations registered in the United States.
  • The applicant must be a U.S. resident or a legal entity within the U.S. in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the application.
  • Only one application per project is allowed.
  • All projects must align with the mission of Human X, focusing on minority communities and charitable causes.
  1. Application Process:
  • Applicants must submit all required information
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  • By submitting a proposal, applicants certify that the information provided is accurate and complete to the best of their knowledge.
  • Applications must be submitted by the deadline specified on the Human X website or promotional material. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  1. Grant Funds:
  • The amount of the grant is subject to the discretion of the Human X Board of Directors and will be based on the scope and impact of the proposed project.
  • Grant funds must be used solely for the project outlined in the application. Any changes to the project must be approved by Human X in writing.
  • The use of funds must comply with IRS regulations governing 501(c)(3) organizations and cannot be used for political activities, lobbying, or personal gain.
  1. Reporting:
  • Grantees are required to provide periodic updates on the progress of their project.
  • A final report detailing the use of funds, outcomes, and impact of the project must be submitted within 60 days of project completion.
  • Failure to submit reports or misuse of funds may result in the termination of funding and ineligibility for future grants.
  1. Intellectual Property:
  • Human X reserves the right to use project descriptions, images, and reports for promotional purposes.
  1. Publicity:
  • By accepting the grant, the recipient agrees to allow Human X to use their name, likeness, and project information in promotional materials, press releases, and social media.
  • Grantees may be required to participate in interviews or public presentations at Human X’s discretion.
  1. Termination:
  • Human X reserves the right to terminate the grant at any time if the grantee is found to have violated the terms of the agreement, misused funds, or engaged in activities that do not align with Human X’s mission.
  • Any unspent funds at the time of termination must be returned to Human X within 30 days of termination notice.
  1. Compliance with Laws:
  • Grantees must comply with all local, state, and federal laws governing nonprofit organizations and charitable donations.
  • Any project activities or fund use that are deemed illegal or unethical will result in immediate termination of the grant.
  1. Indemnification:
  • Grantees agree to indemnify and hold harmless Human X, its officers, directors, and employees from any and all claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from or related to the grantee’s project.
  1. Miscellaneous:
  • These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between Human X and the grantee.
  • Any changes to these terms must be made in writing and agreed to by both parties.
  • Human X reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
